Management Biographies

Mr. Robert Gaither
President
Mr. Gaither has 25 years of experience in the automobile business. 13 of those years were spent as owner/operator of the largest independent automobile dealership on the Central Coast of California. His extensive experience with sales and implementation of dealer based information, sales and marketing systems serves him well as company President.
Rob oversees Virtual Motor’s daily operations, including management, customer service, product and service development and systems integration. Rob plays an active role in implementing strategic growth initiatives within the automotive marketplaces. His educational background in sales and marketing has helped Virtual Motors become a recognized leader in products, systems, service, software, and support. Mr. Gaither majored in Chemistry at Illinois State University, and has been a professional musician since 1975.

Mr. Timothy Pau
Chief Architect
Mr. Pau is the chief architect of Virtual Motors’s innovative software solutions, SmartDesk™ and ProfitXpress®. During his years developing and managing software, Mr. Pau has transformed the company from a regional software development house to a national corporation serving dealers nationwide. Mr. Pau has more than a decade of experience developing cutting-edge, information management systems for the automotive and financial industries. As Chief Architect, he plays an integral role in system design, project management, and quality control.

Mr. Edson T. Marko
Vice President
Automotive Industry Specialist and 20 plus years automotive veteran Edson Marko is responsible for the development of aftermarket products and services, sales and marketing, along with dealership and industry relationships. An authority on business processes for automobile dealerships, Ed manages the sales, marketing and consulting team at Virtual Motors. Prior to joining Virtual Motors, Ed managed multiple stores through a B2B training hub for automobile dealerships. There he helped small medium and large dealerships implement innovative sales solutions. Mr. Marko continues to help dealers grow using the specialized products and services provided by Virtual Motors. By keeping information and market trends available to our client base and training them to use this knowledge, Ed gives our dealers an incredible advantage in their respective markets.
