 Dealer Qualifying

DSC is committed to long term relationships. Therefore, taking the time to discuss the dealer’s goals is a crucial step.

By knowing their goals their needs can then be assessed and hopefully fulfilled with DSC ancillary products and services.

Solvency and Professionalism:

  • Dealer’s years of experience?
  • Dealership’s years in business, years at location?
  • Dealership’s physical appearance: lot and location?
  • Member of local Independent Dealer Association?

Sales/Market:

  • Size of inventory, vehicle mix and sales turns? (Avg. purchase price?)
  • Monthly sales volume: retail & wholesale?
  • Financing options: Formal F&I office? If so, is dealer using prime, sub-prime, or BHPH lenders?
  • Ancillary Products: Does the dealer offer service contracts, warranties, insurance?
